About Us
The Center for Information Assurance Practices and Certification (CIAPC) is a community of professionals in the diverse information assurance fields serving organizations and customers ensuring for the protection of their sensitive information assets.
Goals
The goals of the Center are to:
- provide a centralized body in the industry to collectively develop standardized professional practice models and methodologies;
- to provide a medium in which leaders can discuss issues of the day, and share insights, information and experience;
- establish an accessible education program for information assurance practitioners, delivered by experienced local practitioners;
- provide professional certification services associated with established and published professional practice methodologies;
- establish an executive forum for information assurance leaders, lead by industry leaders;
- create a recognition program for industry leaders and progressive organizations.

GovernanceThe CIAPC is legally registered in the state of Florida, of United States of America. The organization's day-to-day operations is led by an Executive Director with oversight by an International Board, complemented by Regional Directors (as appointed). |
RegistrationAll industry practitioners may apply for a subscription to the CIAPC by registering on this site, during which time you will be asked to accept our terms and conditions. All registrations are subject to CIAPC's terms and conditions, and subsequent changes thereafter. |
Membership EligibilityMembership in the CIAPC is open to all professionals supporting organizational privacy, information security, business continuity and risk management programs, which includes but is not limited to professionals in the fields of Information Security, Audit, Risk, Business Continuity, Privacy and Technology Management. |

Mastery Training Series | All subscribers may elect to participate in our Mastery Training Series. Each session varies in length based on the topic, and includes a round table discussion to address issues that affect Senior Leaders. The round table discussion periods are closed to Senior Leaders only. The fee for each session of the Leadership Training Series may vary based on the length of the session and the volume of local vendor sponsorship. |
